When Snap-Saver LLC introduced its revolutionary new storage container
product, Snap-Saver The No-Brainer Container™, it represented
a major milestone in the life of its inventor, Kate Adams. Kate’s
dream and vision of creating a solution to the age-old frustration
of never being able to find the matching lid to her storage containers
began while sitting on the floor of her kitchen in 1995. Today, her product is marketed on television and offered by retailers around the world.
Kate’s heart-warming story is a testimony to the American
Dream. As a wife and the mother of three children, Kate was constantly
looking for ways to stay organized and be efficient. Following just
one more frustrating event of trying to find a matching lid and
bowl, as the containers cascaded from the cupboard to the floor,
Kate vowed to solve this problem. Sitting on the kitchen floor,
surrounded with a miss-matched mess, she remembers saying to herself
“whoever figures this one out is going to take over the market”.
Within a few hours and some encouragement from her husband, she
had it. Little did she know at the time, that that was just the
beginning of a long patenting, researching and manufacturing process.

Kate Adams, now the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Snap-Saver,
LLC. “It has been a long journey, from that day in my kitchen.

to cleaning up. Storing leftovers should be a bonus for easier meal
preparation later in the week, not the never-ending frustration
of “where’s the lid?” Why should we have to choose

When asked what the most important thing she is learning in this
process, Kate replied “I’m really clear on how important
it is to surround yourself with masterful people like Annie and
Roy. I also know that I had to work on this everyday in order to
keep the dream alive and gain confidence in my ability to see it
through.” According to Kate, the greatest joy she has experienced
thus far is “knowing that my children have personally witnessed
their parents working toward a common goal over a long period of
time. What more can any parent want? As parents we are always looking
for opportunities to teach our children the value of determination,
team work and a common goal.” Moving forward, Kate is most
looking forward to all the people out there who will be opening
their drawers and cupboards now – and smiling!
